Where you come from
Neurosurgery was Liz’s plan from the age of seven. She grew up around surgeons, but a complex hospital stay in her teens rerouted her entirely. Biochemistry followed, then a Masters in HR and Psychology, and eventually a move into executive search — the place where her fascination with science, people, and medicine finally converged.
That connection to the sector became sharper when she was told she may have had inoperable brain cancer. It turned out not to be the case, but it left her with a clarity that most people in this industry don’t have: the devices being built today need to reach market. The patients of tomorrow are depending on it.

How you actually run a search
Every search starts with building a story compelling enough to move people who aren’t looking. Liz maps the candidate pool, draws on her network, and presents a vetted shortlist, but the process is built around honest calibration with clients throughout, not volume.
Candidates are kept informed, prepared, and treated with the same standard as clients. Many unsuccessful candidates have gone on to bring her work, because they trusted the process. She stays close to both sides after placement, checking in regularly through the first six months.
Outside of work
Outside of work, Liz is absorbed in Neurotech, up early at the gym or trail running with her husband and three Siberian huskies. She believes life is for living and brings that same energy to every search.
